I am also a felon. I have read that medical billing and coding is one of the few jobs I can get with a felony, without going to school for along time. I know that felons can’t get a job in the medical field so I am wondering how realistic it is that I will be able to get a job. Any suggestions??

But, I have been searching and I can not find any schools that offer training online. If anyone knows of a school that offers training online that provides financial aid please let me know. Also, if you do medical billing and coding yourself please let me know how you would describe it. Is it insanely hard to do, was it hard at first and now you like it, is it something that you wouldn’t recommend people doing (if so for what reason), or do you love it and find it easy for others to grasp?
