That’s most of my friends’ job. It depends in the area where you live. In Orange County, California – For insurance billing the pay scale is between $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. For encoding – fom $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. If you become a supervisor, you’d earn a lot more – $55K and above annually.
You could go to monster.com. You’d have an idea on what they’re looking for. Some include salary range/pay rate and benefits.
