I am currently a MCertified Medical Assistant and am considering going back to school for medical billing and coding? What is the average yearly salary for this job?

i have a friend who does medical coding.when she gets her certification she will make more money. a decent salary for the area we live in. i on the other hand am a medical biller and feel the need to find a second job to get by. i didn’t go to school for medical billing but some of my coworkers did and they aren’t making any more than i am with just my high school diploma. hope this helps.
