I was skeptical, but I must admit I really enjoyed this book on Telecommunications Billing. The book was very easy to read and gave me a good understanding of the issues when it comes to managing in the billing arena. I almost feel competent. Awesome book!! This book and Managing Office Politics by Andrew T. Antee are probably my favorite books in the whole world. I don’t think the book by Mr. Antee is on Amazon yet, but you can always find it doing a web search. Both of these books are awesome and each one really tells it like it is!

WOW!! The author is nothing less than my hero!. As a Senior Technical Architect for at&t in St. Louis Missouri, I can acutally say I worship this dude! This book covers every aspect of telecom. From OSS/BSS interactions, business processes, to GREAT telecom competitive strategies. If you need information on Telecom Billing, this book is definitely it. I read it cover to cover on a regular basis just to keep myself in check. Before this book I had to resort to playing with my management, literally!. To be honest, they aren’t very smart.I work for one of those companies who have left the smarter people on the bottom. So the people I report to are very easy to manipulate. It is quite fun! They have no background in what they are managing…I love my job. I’ve enjoyed it so much. It’s not my fault the people I work for are imcompetent(the word idiot is an understatement). So who can blame me. Anyway, the author, A.T. Bell has helped me a great deal. The knowledge of the author is unbelievable. If you need a great book to understand the Telecom Business, this is the one. I have learned so much. Thanks!!

This is the top selling book on Telecommunications Billing and I can understand why. This is definitely one of the more influential books out there. The book covers all aspects of telecom. From Customer Resources Management(CRM), to complex hubs for integration of telecom billing technology. It covers every telecom process which exists today. From billing to disaster recovery. It talks alot about rating, product offerings, account management, bill formatting, etc. It also gives a great deal of information concerning people and process management topics. The book I really enjoye is “Managing Office Politics” by Andrew T. Antee. I don’t think it is on Amazon, but I easily found it using by doing a google search. This book is awesome and helped me with the amount of politics which exist in a telecom infrastructure. As someone who has worked in the telecom field for many years, I would recommend both of these books. Good and ethical management with a solid understanding of the business is essential to be successful. You won’t regret picking this one up. Buy it!
