All i wanted to know is what education level is needed to get a job as a medical billing specialist in new york state. I mean the public hospitals in New york. The government funded ones. Like the Methodist Hospital in New York City

   More than likely you’ll need a medical billing specialist certificate. This is obtained after completing a medical billing program or medical billing courses from an accredited medical billing school online or on a college campus. Then you would take an exam from an accreditation agency to get your certificate. Nurse Kindheart
