Is Medical Billing & Insurance Coding a good career/job?

UEI offers an 8 month certificate program. I need a career fast!
With such a certificate do you think I will be able to find a good paying Medical Billing & Insurance Coding position?

   it would be a good career for some one entering the work force — but it is usually a dead end position!!!
