   Should you intern? Or Volunteer? Interns get minimum wage most of the time so at least you are getting something. Medical billing is a high turnover position, most go over to ther sides of the industry such as collections. Its all the same other than the fact that you need to learn medical codes for the medical billing. I have seen people hire green billers due to the high turnover rate, getting experience will only get you about 50 cents more an hour to start. Good Luck
