I want to do a medical billing and coding course online.?

I am currentlt looking for info on Gatlin Education Services. Are they good and if I get their certificate, will I be eligible to sit for the professional certification exam after I complete their course ? How do I find this out ?

Hi, there are several great schools to choose from for coding/billing education and many not so good schools.
Don’t go w/ an education clearinghouse that offers 100 different programs.
Go w/ a school that has a proven track record.
A good school will prepare you to sit for the AHIMA CCA exam. There are numerous different billing certifications and a good school will lead you in the right direction for that as well. Billing and coding are two separate things : ) However, it’s not a bad idea to be proficient w/ both to increase employability.
